Hi, I am Jodie, a thought leader for female artists taking their career into a legacy. As a curator, consultant, and educator trusted by revered artists and museums, I am excited to be teaching you about artists making an impact. My curatorial leadership supporting artistic innovations is highly sought-after and chronicled in The New York Times, PBS, Seattle Times, Forbes, Hyperallergic, Culture Trip, and Art in America. I've worked behind the scenes for famous artists and have worked with hundreds of artists and collectors on the value of art.

The most important thing I can tell you about myself is that I love creating the change we need. I believe so strongly that art is important. Art is provocative. It has the power to change everything. It can be political. Its healing properties are studied and scientifically undeniable. I’ve been witness to it and experienced it myself. Art will shift your perspective. It's the catalyst for change.

I’ve brought major successes to the art world. AH-MA-ZING artists and museums trust me to strategize and execute a vision as do universities and galleries. Here are a few highlights of my career:

Assisted Judy Chicago in 2017 with the sculpture titled: Be No More at SFMOMA

Expanded programming for Dale Chihuly including legacy projects, trusted artist assistant, color creator, and R&D specialist.

Assisted Barbara Earl Jones.

Academics | Christie's: Focus on Celebrating the Female Agency in the Arts

Academics | Aspen Institute: Artists-Endowed Foundations

Academics | Workshop with Guerrilla Girls

Curator | Beyond An Inconvenient Truth. Earth Creative uses the power of the arts to raise awareness about climate change to advance climate justice for all.

Curator | A Precarious Edge.Museum of Northwest Art. Steve Klein and Meg Holgate incorporate different media to explore a contemplative dialog on the beauty, benefits, and boundaries of our essential habitats. Inside this immersive exhibition, one is also surrounded by a symphonic creation titled, Terra Nostra II, by Grammy-nominated composer Christophe Chagnard a delicate reality surfaces asking the viewer to reflect on a presumptive outlook with a new awareness.

Curator | Connecting Systems. City of Shoreline, Washington. An all-female art exhibit and an onsite glassblowing demonstration. Artists include Raya Friday, Kait Rhoads, and Carol Milne.

I am teaching this course to connect with those who also believe we have an unbalanced world with a huge feminine deficit. It’s way beyond a gender fight…..it’s ecological. As Lama Tsultrim Allione says, “The loss of feminine qualities is an urgent psychological and ecological issue in modern society. It is a painful loss in our emotional lives and disastrous loss for the safety of life on earth.”

Start with this course and be the change needed.
